AI store name generator

Tell it what you sell, who buys it and the feel you want. You get ten to twelve original names, each with a tagline, a line on why it fits, and how it could look as a domain, so you can shortlist in minutes instead of days.

A sentence or two. The more specific, the less generic the names.

What makes a store name work

  • You can say it once and be understood. If you have to spell it on the phone, customers will mistype it in a search bar.
  • It leaves room to grow. "Soy Candle Shop" is stuck the day you add diffusers. A name about the feeling or the maker travels further.
  • It is yours to keep. A great name somebody else has registered as a trademark is a rebrand waiting to happen.

Before you commit to a name

  1. Search it as a trademark in the countries you sell to. In the US that is the USPTO search; the EU and UK have their own registers.
  2. Check the domain. The domain ideas here are only how the name could look as a .com. The generator never checks, and never claims, that one is free.
  3. Check the social handles you will actually use, on the platforms your buyers are on.
  4. Say it out loud to three people and ask them to type it from memory the next day.

How the generator works

Your description is sent to OpenAI's API with instructions to suggest original names only: nothing that copies a known brand, at most three words and 24 characters, and taglines without invented claims. We do not store what you type. Treat the list as a starting point for your own thinking, not as a verdict.

How this tool works

  • Your text is sent to OpenAI's API, which writes the copy, and the answer comes straight back to this page. We do not store what you type.
  • The model is told to use only the facts you give it: no invented materials, sizes, certifications, guarantees or review quotes. Check the output against your product before you publish it.
  • It is free because we cap it: a few runs per visitor per hour and a daily limit for the whole site. If you hit a limit, the tool says so instead of failing silently.

Written copy is a draft, not a fact-check. You are responsible for what ends up on your product page.

Questions

Are these names available?

We do not check, and the tool never claims a name or domain is free. Before you commit, search the name as a trademark in the countries you sell to, then check the domain and the social handles you want.

Can I use a name the generator gives me?

The names are yours to use, but a name being generated says nothing about whether someone else already uses it. The trademark search is the step that protects you, not the generator.

How do I pick between the ideas?

Say each one out loud, as if on the phone to a supplier, and type it from memory a day later. The name that survives both, and still makes sense if you add a second product line, is usually the one.

Do you keep what I type?

No. We count runs to keep the tool free, but we do not store your store idea.
