Privacy policy

What LiveInAIWorld collects, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to access, correct or delete your data.

Effective date: September 18, 2026.

This policy explains how LiveInAIWorld ("LiveInAIWorld", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit liveinaiworld.com, use our free tools and spreadsheets, subscribe to our emails, or click a link that passes through our redirect service at go.liveinaiworld.com (together, the "Site").

We collect as little as we can, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies.

Who is responsible for your data

LiveInAIWorld is an independent publication owned and operated by Maor Sasson, based in Israel. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and similar laws, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Contact for any privacy question or request: hello@liveinaiworld.com. Please write "Privacy" in the subject line.

The details follow.

Information you give us

Newsletter, tool results and spreadsheet downloads. When you subscribe, ask us to email you a tool result, or request one of our free spreadsheets, you give us your email address. With it we store the date, the page and form you used, what you asked for, and a one-way hash of your IP address as a record of your consent. We send a confirmation email first, and we email you regularly only after you confirm (a requested tool result or file is sent right away, because you asked for it).

Messages. If you email us, we receive your address, your message and anything you attach.

Text typed into our tools. Our calculators run in your browser and send nothing to us. Our AI tools (for example the product description and store name generators) send the text you type to our server and on to OpenAI to generate the answer. See "AI tools" below. Please do not type personal, confidential or sensitive information into any tool.

We never ask for payment details. We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or biometric data), and you should not send them to us.

Information collected automatically

Outbound link clicks. Buttons and links that lead to a product's website pass through our own redirect (addresses containing /go/). For each click we record the time, which page and button it came from, your browser's user agent string, the referring page, your country when it is available, and a one-way, salted hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. We use this record to count clicks, to tell people from bots and link scanners, to learn which content is useful, and to match commissions: we pass a random click identifier to the vendor so it can report a sign-up back to us. That identifier contains no information about you.

Button views. When an offer button appears on your screen, your browser sends us the button's code. We keep only a daily count per button. No identifier, cookie, IP address or hash is stored with it.

Email engagement. Our emails contain a small image and links that pass through our own domain, which tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to note your interests (for example, a click on an article about booking apps), to send follow-ups only to people they are relevant to, and to stop emailing addresses that never engage. Our email provider also tells us whether each email was delivered, bounced or reported as spam. Some email apps load images automatically or scan links, so these signals are approximate, and we treat them that way.

Analytics, only with your consent. If you choose "Allow analytics" in our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies to measure visits, where visitors come from, and which pages, affiliate buttons and forms are used. Nothing is loaded before you allow it. Google Analytics is configured without advertising features, and its cookies expire after 13 months. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of every page.

Technical cookies and storage. The Site uses a few strictly necessary cookies (security and remembering your cookie choice) and stores small preferences in your browser, such as "the offer bar was closed". Our cookie policy lists each one with its purpose and lifetime.

Server records. Our web server is configured not to keep visitor access logs. Error logs record technical details of failures and are used only to fix them.

Information from others

Affiliate programs and networks tell us when a click we sent led to a sign-up or purchase, usually with the random click identifier, an order or transaction reference, the amount of our commission and its status. They generally do not send us your name or email address, and we do not ask for them.

Our email provider reports delivery results, bounces, spam complaints and unsubscribes.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

  • send the emails, results and files you asked for, and manage your subscription;
  • decide which emails are relevant to you based on what you opened and clicked;
  • run, secure and debug the Site, and protect it against spam, fraud and abuse (for example, limiting how many sign-ups one network address can make);
  • measure which content, buttons and emails are useful, and improve them;
  • count clicks and reconcile affiliate commissions with the programs that pay them;
  • answer your messages and handle your privacy requests; and
  • comply with the law and defend legal claims.

Legal bases under GDPR: your consent (newsletter emails, Google Analytics), performance of your request or a contract (sending a tool result or file you asked for, producing an AI tool result), our legitimate interests (measuring and improving the Site, filtering bots, reconciling commissions, security, answering messages, defending claims), balanced against your rights, and legal obligations where they apply. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The "engagement level" we calculate from email opens and clicks only decides which emails we send you.

AI tools

When you use one of our AI tools, your input is sent to OpenAI, L.L.C. through its API to generate the result. OpenAI acts as our service provider. Under its API terms, OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default and may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, unless the law requires longer. We do not store what you typed. We keep the generated result on our server for 60 minutes so we can email it to you if you ask, and then it is deleted automatically. AI output can be wrong: check it before you rely on it (see our terms of use).

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not rent or trade email addresses. We disclose personal information only to:

  • Service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions: Contabo (server hosting, including an encrypted backup server), Elastic Email (email delivery), OpenAI (AI tools), Google (Google Analytics, only with your consent), and Cloudflare (domain name service and routing of emails you send to our address);
  • Affiliate programs and networks, which receive only the random click identifier described above, plus whatever you give them directly on their own site;
  • Authorities, courts or other parties when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our readers or the public; and
  • A successor, if LiveInAIWorld is sold or merged, under the same protections described here.

Vendor websites. When you follow a link to a product's website, that company's own privacy policy and cookies apply, including any affiliate cookie it sets to credit us. We do not control those sites.

YouTube. Videos we host play from our own server. Where an article still embeds YouTube, the player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and loads with the page, so Google receives your IP address; from then on Google's privacy policy applies. The cookie policy says which is which.

International transfers

We are based in Israel, which the European Commission recognizes as providing an adequate level of data protection. Our servers and several of our service providers are located in other countries, including the United States. Where personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.

How long we keep information

  • Subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the date on a do-not-email list so that we never email you again, which is in your interest and ours.
  • Sign-ups that were never confirmed: deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Email open, click and delivery events: deleted automatically after 26 months.
  • Outbound click records: after 26 months the IP hash, user agent and referring page are erased automatically. The anonymous count and random click identifier stay, because affiliate programs can adjust or reverse commissions long after a click.
  • AI tool results: 60 minutes. Tool inputs are not stored by us.
  • Google Analytics: according to the retention setting in our account, never more than 14 months.
  • Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than three years, unless we need them to defend a legal claim.
  • Backups: encrypted copies of our databases are kept for up to 30 days and then overwritten.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How we protect information

We use HTTPS everywhere, store one-way hashes of IP addresses instead of the addresses themselves, restrict access to our systems to the operator, protect administrative access with strong credentials and keys, and encrypt our off-site backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities when the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict or object to our use of it, including any use based on legitimate interests;
  • data portability: receive information you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing or changing your cookie settings; and
  • complain to a data protection authority.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. You can complain to the supervisory authority where you live or work (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office), although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

Israel. Under the Protection of Privacy Law you may review information about you held in a database and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.

California and other US states. Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon), may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its "sale", its "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not sell or share personal information for those purposes, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information. In the last 12 months we collected identifiers (email address, IP hash, click identifier), internet activity (link clicks, email opens and clicks, and, with consent, analytics data), approximate location (country), and the contents of messages you send us, from the sources and for the purposes described above, and disclosed them only to the service providers listed above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authority and ask you to confirm your identity. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome in writing.

How to make a request. Email hello@liveinaiworld.com from the address the request concerns, or tell us how to verify that the data is yours. We answer within one month (45 days where US state law allows), and tell you if we need more time. Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Your choices

  • Cookies and analytics: use the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of any page to allow or refuse analytics cookies, or to change your earlier choice. Refusing never limits what you can read or use.
  • Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies until you choose otherwise, and as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing (which we do not do anyway).
  • Emails: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also reply to any email or write to us.
  • Links: you can visit any product directly instead of through our links; we will not know about that visit.
  • Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, and use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Children

The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site links to websites and services we do not own or control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site or the law changes. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell subscribers by email before it applies.
