Tools for the decisions that cost money
Before you pay for a platform, an ad or a product, there is usually one number that decides whether it works. These tools work that number out with your figures, not a vendor's marketing example. Free, no account, nothing to install.

Ready to build your own? Start on the platform these tools are built around.

Which tool answers which question
- Before you pick a plan: the Shopify fee calculator adds the subscription, card processing, the extra fee for third-party payments and your apps, and shows which plan is cheapest at your order volume.
- Before you order stock or spend on ads: the store profit and break-even calculator tells you what one order leaves after product, shipping, fees and returns, how many orders a month you need, and your break-even ROAS.
- Before you name the store: the AI store name generator gives you a shortlist of original names with taglines, and tells you what to check before you commit to one.
- When you set your prices: the product pricing calculator finds the price that keeps your target margin once shipping and payment fees are counted.
- When you set up shipping: the free shipping threshold calculator shows the order value where free shipping pays for itself.
- When you are writing product pages: the AI product description generator turns your own product facts into a description, bullets, an SEO title and a meta description.
- Before you publish the store: the refund and shipping policy generator drafts both policies from your answers and flags every gap you still have to fill.
- Before you automate bookings or leads: the Make credits calculator counts the credits your scenario uses a month, including the ones a schedule spends while idle, and says whether Make Free covers it or when you need Core.
- Not sure which platform at all? The platform picker asks what you are building and your budget, and answers with one tool we tested.
- If you would rather keep the numbers in a file: the same maths lives in our free spreadsheet templates for Excel and Google Sheets.
How we keep the numbers honest
Every vendor price a tool uses comes from the vendor's own pricing page, with the date we checked it printed under the result. Where a vendor does not publish a number, the tool does not guess: Shopify's card processing rates are not on its pricing page or its Payments page, so the calculators ask for the rate in your own account. The calculators run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to us.
Questions
Are these tools free?
Yes, with no account. The calculators have no limits. The AI tools allow a few runs per visitor per hour, because every run costs us money.
Do you store the numbers I type?
No. The calculators run in your browser and send nothing to us. The AI tools send what you type to OpenAI to write the result, and we do not keep it. Only if you ask for a result by email do we store your email address.
How current are the Shopify prices?
They come from shopify.com/pricing, checked on 16 September 2026, and the date is shown under every result. Shopify can localise prices by country, so check your own billing page before you commit to a plan.
